All parents are concerned for their childrens' achievement in school and of course their success after graduation, but most parents may not know exactly what it takes for young adults in this generation to stand above the rest as they enter the workforce.
Employers, colleges, universities, and technical schools care about an applicant's overall education, not just a grade-point average. They prefer those who have completed a demanding course of study in high school. They value a "C" in a challenging class more than an "A" in an easy one. Utah Scholars receive special support and recognition for their academic achievements during high school and upon graduation.
