Becoming a Utah Scholar is within your reach. Research proves that by taking these core courses, in addition to electives, during high school will significantly impact your future opportunities. That means:
These classes will fit easily into your regularly scheduled day, and won't eliminate your opportunity to take electives as you choose. A little effort now can mean big things for you down the road. Here's the plan!

If you are attending school in the Granite, Jordan, Park City, or Davis school districts, the Utah Scholars program is already set up and ready for you. You may contact your school's counselor or contact us directly to learn more. Guess what? You may already be on your way to being a Utah Scholar --- just take a look at the course of study outlined above, and see if you match up. If you don't, it's not too late. Chances are you'd only have to make a few adjustments in your schedule to include these classes.

To Do
Review the Utah Scholars course requirements with your school counselor, enroll in and pass the courses with at least a "C" or better, and graduate from high school. Tell your parents and your teachers that you want to be a Utah Scholar so they can help you reach your goal.
